With one final to go, I am definitely ready for Summer. But before Summer, comes one of my favorite holidays–Cinco de Mayo! What could be better then hangin’ out with friends, good food, and ice cold margaritas! As I count down the days til’ this blessed event here are some of my favs…
1. $8000 dollar margarita– Gnat’s Landing and Bubba Garcias–St. Simons Island GA
I realize I might be slightly biased (my family’s restaurants) but try them for yourself and you’ll see! Good tequila, sweet and sour, Cointreau, and a splash of light beer, served in a cold mason jar rimmed with salt=perfection.
2. Knock you naked margarita– Fat Mama’s–Natchez MS
This tasty frozen margarita packs a punch! Served in neon plastic tumblers, lined with salt, and topped with firecracker drink swizzle, these dangerously awesome concoctions could save even the lamest party.
3. House Margarita– Sr. Sol–Athens, GA
On the rocks or frozen this stiff ‘rita is more than enough to shake off a bad day or celebrate a great one!
